Founded in 1947 as SNV – Société Nantaise de Voilerie – the company’s original vocation was the manufacture of boat sails, but a few years later it expanded into the manufacture of sun protection products and became Soliso.

As early as 1964, Soliso demonstrated its innovative dynamism by introducing the first Roller Screen awning to the market, gaining a strong reputation among awning professionals.

In 1996, the Invest Group bought the company and gave it its current name, Soliso Europe.

Today, the company offers a complete range of made-to-measure awnings: indoor, outdoor and pergolas.

Soliso is a “Made in France” production and know-how facility, with 80 to 150 employees (in season), 3,000 customers and 16,000m² of manufacturing space.
